Product information by Music Remover
The service
Music Remover lets you separate voice and background music from video and audio. This page describes the information handled by the application and through third-party model processing.
Information we handle
Account details include your name, email address, authentication records and session cookies. When you use the remover, the application stores file metadata and processing task records, including the file name, media type, submission time, task status and temporary output links. It does not store your uploaded file bytes in the application's database.
Media processing
Your media uses third-party model processing for voice separation and, for video, audio replacement. New local uploads are stored in private file storage, and the processing service receives a temporary link to a fixed copy. A direct media link you submit is passed to the processing service so it can fetch the file. This explanation is also shown in the tool before an upload or direct-link task is submitted.
Processing requires an account. The application's task API limits history and results to the task owner. New uploads and archived results are served through authenticated preview and download endpoints. Legacy temporary media links may contain access information; anyone you share those links with may access the file until the link expires.
Retention
Uploaded files are available for 30 days. Processing results are available to download for 30 days after generation. Save the files you want to keep before their availability expires.
Input copies from local uploads or public media links are used to execute the processing task. The availability period does not promise that every processing copy is deleted when it ends. Processing does not delete the original file on your device or control copies hosted at an external address you submit.
The 30-day file availability period does not automatically delete account or task records. These records remain in the application's database until removed through an account or support request. If a recording contains personal or sensitive information, consider whether this processing workflow is appropriate before uploading it.
Cookies and analytics
Session and language cookies support authentication and localization. Analytics or customer support services may be enabled by the operator; any such services receive information according to their configuration. The local version does not configure third-party analytics identifiers by default.
Requests and support
You can update your account profile in Settings. For questions or requests concerning account or task data, use the support ticket function in your account. Only upload media you are entitled to submit for third-party model processing.
For service or data requests, email support@musicremover.app.
See Contact for support channels and About for the processing workflow.
