How to use the audio splitter

Preview the two tracks
Start with voice selected. Turn either track on or off and adjust its volume. Listen at the same point in the recording to compare the results.
Save separate audio
Download voice or background in your chosen audio format. Return to My Files for your processing history. No video file or video export is needed.
Select the sound you need
Voice is selected by default. Choose background for an instrumental-style result, or select both and adjust their levels. Each track can also be downloaded separately.
Separation, rather than trimming
This audio splitter estimates voice and background using a third-party model. It does not cut a recording into time segments or provide individual drum, bass and instrument tracks.

Does this audio splitter split a file into shorter clips?
No. It splits the sound by voice and background, keeping the recording timeline. Use an audio editor if you need to cut by time or create several shorter files.
Can I upload a video here?
This page accepts audio only. Use the music remover for video, or the vocal remover if you want the video background track selected first.
Will the voice and background be perfectly isolated?
Not always. Overlapping sounds, echo, distortion and dense music can affect separation. Compare important words and transitions with the source before using the result.
Where do I find my files later?
Open My Files after signing in. Uploaded files and processed downloads are available for 30 days. Save the results locally if you need them beyond that period.
