How to use the vocal remover
Upload your audio or video
Choose a file you have permission to process. Sign in, check the format and displayed cost, and keep the page open until the task is queued.
Listen to background first
Background is selected by default and voice is off. Select or deselect either track, then use its volume control to choose the mix you want.
Download the right result
Save the background audio on its own, or download a video with the selected mix. Find queued and completed tasks in My Files.
Background is the starting point
This page starts with background only. You can add voice back at a lower level, or switch to voice only. Video playback and the selected audio follow the same position.
Review the separation
A third-party model estimates voice and background. The background can include ambience, effects or vocal residue; perfect instrumental isolation is not guaranteed.
Vocal remover questions
How is a vocal remover different from a music remover?
They use the same two separated tracks with a different starting choice. A vocal remover selects background to reduce voice; a music remover selects voice to reduce background music.
Can I use it for karaoke or an instrumental?
You can download the background track for media you are allowed to edit and use. Residual singing or changes to instruments may remain. Separation does not grant rights to reuse the recording.
Can I mix voice and background together?
Yes. Select either or both tracks and adjust their individual volumes. Click a selected checkbox again to turn that track off. Listen to the mix before downloading.
How long can I download the files?
Uploaded files and processed downloads are available for 30 days. Save a local copy for longer use. After upload completes and the task is queued, processing continues in the background.
